Château de MontMirail
« Respect and enrichment of family tradition »
Created in 1960 by Maurice Archimbaud, the Château de Montmirail is today managed by his grandchildren, Philippe and Sylvie Bouteiller.
Our vineyard, located in the two communes of Vacqueyras and Gigondas, is in fact largely the work of our grandfather, who patiently built up this estate by combining two properties over 20 years – the family estate in Vacqueyras, inherited from his father Gabriel, and the vineyard in Gigondas, which he created entirely in the 1960s – by clearing the steep slopes of the Dentelles de Montmirail.
