The vintages
In the heat of the sun
climate
Starting in a soft, humid winter cocoon, the flowering period was short-lived. The summer sun didn’t hold back, and we endured a scorching summer.
harvest
The pulp of the grapes was full of sugars, but skin maturity was lacking due to the lack of cool nights. But everything went back to normal for those who knew how to wait. The grapes were often harvested in the cool of the morning and were healthy. Fermentation took a little longer.
characteristics
Thanks to careful sorting of the grapes and gentle extraction, these red wines had a sustained colour and revealed aromas of ripe fruit (cherries, blackcurrant, wild blackberries), sometimes a little "jammy" with hints of spice and notable tannins.
These red wines are colourful, fruity (black fruit) and spicy with a smooth texture.
