The importance of the local region
Everything started well. A cold and dry winter was followed by a short flowering period. The summer was dry with occasional coolness.
The grapes had matured healthily but... September rains came to disturb the harvest a little. Only the lighter, well exposed and well-drained vines did well.
The coloured red wines were very fruity (red fruit), straight and well balanced.
They have evolved into amber, possess aromas of candied fruit, cinnamon and have retained their fine tannins.
