A tangy year!

climate

The mild, rainy winter was followed by a warm yet windy spring. A hot, sunny June accelerated the flowering.

harvest

The cool, damp summer and the lack of sun slowed the veraison. The helpful mistral accompanied by a few cool nights allowed a good concentration of the grapes.

characteristics

These red wines were very fruity (tangy fruits) and spicy with notes of heathland flowers, rosemary and laurels - a true garrigue bouquet!
