Grape variety for rosé and red wine
Native to Provence, Clairette Rose is essentially reserved for the production of rosé wines. It is a pink mutation of the Clairette Blanche. This type of grape variety has medium to large bunches of medium-sized grapes.
- lime blossom
- Tart notes
Like the Clairette Blanche, this grape variety appreciates less fertile soils. However, its aromatic palette is best revealed when it has a water supply in conditions that keep it from the dryness of summer.
